The "Hellenic Cosmos" Cultural Centre offers Educational Programs for children aged 5 to 8 years, which are designed and implemented by the Museum Education - Educational Department and take place in all the fully equipped indoor and outdoor spaces of "Hellenic Cosmos".

Sunday, February 23, 2025 - “Carnival Treasure Hunt” (Family program)

Young and old in action… King Carnival must be set up, but all the necessary materials have disappeared! Clues, riddles, and puzzles will lead us to secret hiding places. With good teamwork, enthusiasm, and creativity, King Carnival will make his appearance at "Hellenic Cosmos"… and the fun begins!

Sunday, March 2, 2025 - Party with joy and dance, with Carnival as the leader.

Carnival... days of festivity, disguises, and carefreeness. How are the Greek Carnival traditions celebrated? Come and relive traditional customs that have been around for hundreds of years from all over Greece.

Frida Kahlo, Isadora Duncan, Nelly, Thalia Flora-Karavia… Who are these women who left an indelible mark on the world of arts? A visual “workshop” is here to provide the answer and introduce us to their work and art, which will inspire us to create our own original pieces.

How about a journey into space? It’s not an easy task! If you also want to become a member of the spaceship “IME Apollo,” which will soon launch towards the Moon, just join our team. A space adventure awaits us among constellations, craters, comets, and shooting stars! Are you ready? Let’s go…

You can thematically combine the educational program with the film «In the Footsteps of Einstein - The Magic of Gravity», which will be screened on Sunday, 16/3 at 15:00, at «Tholos», the Virtual Reality Theater of the «Hellenic Cosmos» Cultural Centre. 

Sunday, March 23 2025 - Knossos… the palace of myths and mysteries

Colorful frescoes, a “peculiar” script, pottery, children's toys, and a thread unraveling in the labyrinth of Knossos. Myths, riddles, and mysteries… will they help us find the long-awaited exit?

Sunday, March 30 2025 - Strange, terrifying, unique… they are monsters, and they are mythical!

Can you imagine a creature with the head of a lion, the body of a goat, and the tail of a dragon? Yet, it existed! But where else? In Greek mythology! This mythical monster and many more that put our heroes into adventures will be discovered together at «Hellenic Cosmos»!

Access for people with disabilities (PWD) is available to all areas, as well as PWD parking spaces in the underground parking area of Building 2.

With a cheerful mood, the cast and crew of the play "Les Misérables" cut the New Year's cake in the presence of the Vice President of the Foundation of the Hellenic World, Mrs. Sofia Kounenaki Efremoglou, and the CEO, Mr. Dimitris Efremoglou, at the Theatron of the «Hellenic Cosmos» Cultural Centre. The lucky winners of the coin were Eirini Angelopoulou and Elina Giannaki.

The event was attended by the Vice President of the Foundation of the Hellenic World, Mrs. Sofia Kouenaki Efremoglou, and the CEO, Mr. Dimitris Efremoglou. The coin for the performance "Grandpa Has High Blood Pressure" was won by Mrs. Sofia Kouenaki Efremoglou, and for "Vodka Molotov" by Mr. Nikorestis Chaniotakis.

With the presence of His Beatitude Archbishop of Athens and All Greece, Ieronymos II, the completion event of the co-financed Project "Digitization of Sacred Relics of Parish Churches" with MIS 6003375, organized by the Foundation of Pastoral Education of the Holy Archdiocese of Athens, was held with great success and a large turnout of guests on Thursday, October 3, at the «Hellenic Cosmos» Cultural Centre.
