Interactive Tour of the Sanctuary of Delphi

Travel to the renowned oracle of ancient Greece, the Panhellenic sanctuary of Delphi, the navel of the Earth. The history of Delphi is lost in prehistory and the myths of ancient Greeks. Using new technologies, viewers will have the opportunity to virtually tour the Sacred Site of Delphi, to learn about and admire up close its most important monuments and buildings, such as the Sphinx of the Naxians, the dedications of the Athenians, Spartans, and Arcadians, as well as the treasury of the Athenians and the Siphnians.

Hagia Sophia: 1500 Years of History

The new Virtual Reality production of the Foundation of the Hellenic World. A monument-symbol of the world's cultural heritage. An ultra-modern Virtual Reality Dome. Thorough scientific research over the years by the staff and scientific collaborators of the Foundation of the Hellenic World. These elements compose the "stage" of the new interactive Virtual Reality production "Hagia Sophia: 1,500 Years of History," which is a complete digital representation of the Hagia Sophia in Constantinople and was specially created for the Virtual Reality theater "Tholos."

Interactive Tour at the Monastery of Agios Loukas

The Institute for Pastoral Education of the Holy Archdiocese of Athens, realizing the vision of His Eminence the Archbishop of Athens and All Greece, Mr. Ieronymos II, within the framework of the project "Development of Three-Dimensional Productions for the Holy Monastery of Agios Loukas in Boeotia" under the action "Digitization of Sacred Relics of Parish Churches," with the contracting authority being The Institute for Pastoral Education of the Holy Archdiocese of Athens and the project contractor being Foundation of the Hellenic World, presents a virtual reality production for the Holy Monastery of Agios Loukas in Boeotia.

Interactive Tour of the Acropolis of Athens (circa 5th century B.C.)

Travel to Athens of the 5th century BC, where you will see all the buildings that were on the "Sacred Rock" reconstructed before your eyes in every detail and to their actual scale and dimensions. Using new technologies, the viewer has the opportunity to admire the most complex buildings of the Acropolis from an architectural perspective, such as the Parthenon, the Erechtheion, the Temple of Athena Nike, the Propylaea, as well as the statues that adorned them in 3D and in their natural colors, as they were when they were created.

Interactive Tour at the Ancient Agora of Athens

The "Tour of the Ancient Agora" shown in the "Tholos" is entirely produced by the Foundation and is part of its broader focus on Greek history and culture. Viewers are guided through the area of the Ancient Agora, and with the guidance of a specialized museum educator, they have the opportunity to choose their own path. The representation of the Agora at three different moments in its history allows visitors to understand its evolution over time and the changes in the functions of the space from one era to another, as reflected in its architectural and urban planning differences.

A Walk Through Ancient Olympia

A complete virtual tour of the sacred site of ancient Olympia in the 2nd century BC. Monuments and sacred buildings come to life, giving visitors the opportunity to become "participants" in the events and rituals of the Olympic Games and to learn about the history of the city.

A Walk Through Ancient Miletus

The city of Miletus on the western coast of Asia Minor, one of the most important cities of Ionia, is revived in the Virtual Reality production "A Walk Through Ancient Miletus". The advanced specifications that characterize the environment of the "Tholos" offer unique experiences of immersion and exploration. Thus, visitors have the opportunity to visit the city as it was 2,000 years ago, to discover its most important public buildings, to admire -in panoramic view- its perfect urban design, the work of Hippodamus, and even to "dive" into its harbor.

Dinosaurs come to life again through the technology of the "Tholos" and offer a unique experience for both young and old. Travel millions of years back, to the Triassic, Jurassic, and Cretaceous periods, and discover the fearsome ancestors of today's birds: the flying dinosaurs!

The "Tholos" film "Titans of the Ice Age" brings to life a harsh and beautiful era, when saber-toothed felines, giant sloths, and hairy mammoths inhabited the Earth, while our ancient ancestors were developing art, language, and hunting skills, trying to understand and survive in the harsh world around them.

Darwin: the Mystery of Nature

The 3D film titled "Darwin: The Mystery of Nature" is presented in the Tholos, the Virtual Reality theater of the Hellenic Cosmos, since November 2011. The film promises an adventurous journey of discovering the evolution of life on our planet through Darwin's eyes. The impressive graphics on the 360° screen of the Tholos, the music by the Budapest Symphony Orchestra, and the narration by actor Giannis Bezou, guarantee that the film "Darwin: The Mystery of Nature" will "enchant" both young and old.

Interactive Tour of Ancient Priene

The ancient city of Priene in Asia Minor, the most extensively excavated Hellenistic city of Asia Minor and an excellent example of Hellenistic architecture, comes to life in the IME production "Tour of Ancient Priene". With the creation of a structured environment that is clear and balanced, the city expressed the mature philosophical and political thought of the classical era. Public buildings, private residences, and temples are the stops on this tour of the Anatolian city.
