Our little friends and their guests will have the opportunity to participate in specially designed educational programs for this special day by the Museum Educators of the "Hellenic Cosmos" and watch a Virtual Reality screening in the "Tholos", while parents/escorts will spend their time in the specially arranged, welcoming space of The «Hellenic Cosmos» Cultural Centre.

Captain Bandaga has been gone for many years, but his fame has not faded! It remains alive through time! Everyone knows that on his distant island he hid his legendary treasure. What will happen when the old, worn-out map falls into the hands of our aspiring pirates? Will they manage to decipher the clues and live the adventure?
Activities of readiness and quickness inspired by the magical pirate world! We play and test our endurance as well as our observation skills.

A hole here, a hole there, a hole further away… If you think about it, holes are everywhere around us! Some big and some small, some black and white or colorful, maybe funny or scary, they draw us into unusual games. Have you ever thought about how much training someone needs to become a great and famous “hole expert”?
Activities of observation, accuracy, and movement come together to create a unique program inspired by holes.

How does a graffiti load balloons onto our backs? Why do Dalí’s mustaches become a game? Works of art and painters come to fill our celebration with play.
Activities: Games of movement, observation, memory, and creativity inspired by famous works of art.

We join forces and with speed, cleverness, courage, and daring we follow the footsteps of Hercules, the most famous hero of all time. Olympus awaits us!

❊ Chasing the dragon
Alarm at the palace! A fearsome dragon has taken over the water spring. Aspiring knights and daring princesses set out to drive the dragon away...
Activities: challenges such as balance, agility, accuracy as well as puzzles help us drive the dragon away!
❊ Kids in action
Olympic sports this way and that! We discover, experiment, and laugh! We celebrate our friends’ birthdays by participating in events of yesterday and today. Our physical abilities will be tested, but mostly our endurance in laughter.
Activities: Games inspired by events from ancient and modern Olympic Games.
❊ Is there a solution to everything? The mystery of the lost numbers…
for children aged 9–12 years
Euclid, a ten-year-old student who loves mathematics and philosophy, receives a strange “gift” on his birthday that will lead him into a mystery full of “problems” and “riddles” that demand solutions. Are you and your friends ready to help him?
Activities: Activity sheet with educational tasks inspired by the exhibition of ancient Greek mathematics. We test our observation skills as well as our ability to solve mysteries!
The educational program takes place within the exhibition “Is there a solution to everything? A journey into the world of ancient Greek mathematics” presented at the "Hellenic Cosmos" and is complemented by a ten-minute Virtual tour of the “Inventions of Archimedes.”

Educational Programs
The "Hellenic Cosmos" Cultural Centre offers Educational Programs for children 5 to 8 years old, which are designed and implemented by the Museological-Educational Department and take place in all the fully equipped indoor and outdoor spaces of the "Hellenic Cosmos".
The choir of the Foundation of the Hellenic World invites children and teenagers aged 8 to 18, who love music, to become part of a vibrant community of sound, expression, and joy under the guidance of music educator Matthia Spitadaki.
The “Hellenic Cosmos” welcomes the new school year with new educational programs and activities that cater to all age groups. The programs are designed and implemented by the Museum Educators Department. Children are encouraged to collaborate, observe, investigate, and create.

The Foundation of the Hellenic World and the Hellenic Center for Cinema, Audiovisual Media and Creation - Creative Greece signed a Memorandum of Cooperation defining the framework of their joint actions in the field of digital games, creative technology, and immersive emerging technologies. Signing of a Memorandum of Cooperation between the Foundation of the Hellenic World and the General Secretariat for Greeks Abroad and Public Diplomacy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs
A Memorandum of Cooperation aiming to promote Greek tradition, Greek culture and history, Greek language education, as well as the Greek creative sector, was signed on Wednesday, June 4, 2025, at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, by the Secretary General for Greeks Abroad and Public Diplomacy, Maira Myrogianni, and the Executive Vice President of the Board of Directors of the Foundation of the Hellenic World, Sofia Kounenaki Efraimoglou, in the presence of the Deputy Minister responsible for Greeks Abroad, Yiannis Loverdos.
New collaboration of the Foundation of the Hellenic World with the Holy Metropolis of Fthiotida
The Foundation of the Hellenic World is launching a new collaboration with the Holy Metropolis of Fthiotida for the digitization and digital promotion of 15 churches-monuments and 60 mobile relics of high cultural, historical, and religious significance under the responsibility of the Metropolis of Fthiotida, as well as the creation of 11 religious routes-destinations and their online presentation using advanced information and communication technologies.
Completion of the Project "Digitization of Sacred Relics of Parish Churches"
With the presence of His Beatitude Archbishop of Athens and All Greece, Ieronymos II, the completion event of the co-financed Project "Digitization of Sacred Relics of Parish Churches" with MIS 6003375, organized by the Foundation of Pastoral Education of the Holy Archdiocese of Athens, was held with great success and a large turnout of guests on Thursday, October 3, at the «Hellenic Cosmos» Cultural Centre. The purpose of this project was the digital recording of the valuable ecclesiastical relics of the Holy Archdiocese of Athens and the Holy Monastery of Hosios Loukas, which constitute an important part of our country's cultural and spiritual heritage.
