Grandpa Has High Blood Pressure

Dimitra Papadopoulou's successful comedy returns under the direction of Christos Tripodis this summer at the Atrium of the Hellenic Cosmos Cultural Center, in a new production by Methexis. The role of Grandpa is played by Tasos Chalkias. Alongside him are Krateros Katsoulis, Marilou Katsafadou, Dimitra Stogianni, Hero Pektesi, and Aris Antonopoulos.

"The Verdict" by Barry Reed

The Cultural Center "Hellenic Cosmos" welcomes in October the theatrical play "The Verdict" by Barry Reed, in a theatrical adaptation by Margaret May Hobbs. The role of the combative and incorruptible lawyer in a dark and complex case is interpreted by the unique Grigoris Valtinos. After the huge success of "DA" by Hugh Leonard, with Grigoris Valtinos embodying the lead role, Petros Zoulias takes on the direction of a deeply social courtroom drama in an ambitious production by the Foundation of the Hellenic World and Theasis Cultural Actions.

The Foundation of the Hellenic World presents for the second consecutive year the timeless work of Victor Hugo "Les Misérables", directed and adapted for the stage by Konstantina Nikolaidi, along with a cast of 23 accomplished and talented actors.

Interactive Tour of the Sanctuary of Delphi

Travel to the renowned oracle of ancient Greece, the Panhellenic sanctuary of Delphi, the navel of the Earth. The history of Delphi is lost in prehistory and the myths of ancient Greeks. Using new technologies, viewers will have the opportunity to virtually tour the Sacred Site of Delphi, to learn about and admire up close its most important monuments and buildings, such as the Sphinx of the Naxians, the dedications of the Athenians, Spartans, and Arcadians, as well as the treasury of the Athenians and the Siphnians.

The new Virtual Reality production of the Foundation of the Hellenic World. A monument-symbol of the world's cultural heritage. An ultra-modern Virtual Reality Dome. Thorough scientific research over the years by the staff and scientific collaborators of the Foundation of the Hellenic World. These elements compose the "stage" of the new interactive Virtual Reality production "Hagia Sophia: 1,500 Years of History," which is a complete digital representation of the Hagia Sophia in Constantinople and was specially created for the Virtual Reality theater "Tholos."

Dangerous Mission on the Walls of Byzantine Thessaloniki

After the death of Emperor Manuel I Komnenos in 1180, a period of disintegration and decline begins for Byzantium, which culminates in the Fall of Constantinople to the Crusaders of the 4th Crusade in 1204. During these years, the Byzantine state is plagued by uprisings and civil strife, while the central authority is unable to control the territory. In this turbulent environment, Alexios, an exiled nephew of Manuel, emerges and urges the Normans of Sicily and their king, William II, to turn against Byzantium. Indeed, the Norman army captures Dyrrachium and advances towards Thessaloniki.

Conspiracy in ancient Aigai

The virtual reality experience is based on the rich history of murders and conspiracies that have been recorded in the royal court of Pella, even before the time of Philip II and Alexander. It is said that after Philip's assassination, Alexander feared he might also fall victim to conspiracy and murder. Spring of 334 BC. We are in ancient Aigai, the first urban center of Macedonia. Experience an interactive Extended Reality (XR) experience "In the House of Ergoharis," an ancient Athenian house from the 5th century BC. Thanks to the pioneering technology of the Bridges research program, which offers a multisensory (visual, auditory, and tactile) experience, visitors can explore an ancient Greek house under the guidance of the experienced staff of the "Hellenic Cosmos".

The Institute for Pastoral Education of the Holy Archdiocese of Athens, realizing the vision of His Eminence the Archbishop of Athens and All Greece, Mr. Ieronymos II, within the framework of the project "Development of Three-Dimensional Productions for the Holy Monastery of Agios Loukas in Boeotia" under the action "Digitization of Sacred Relics of Parish Churches," with the contracting authority being The Institute for Pastoral Education of the Holy Archdiocese of Athens and the project contractor being Foundation of the Hellenic World, presents a virtual reality production for the Holy Monastery of Agios Loukas in Boeotia.
